This morning, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau met with Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in Kyiv and discussed Canada’s unwavering commitment and support for the country as Russia continues to invade.
In a 13-point declaration, the two leaders talked about the war’s consequences outside of Ukraine such as worsened global energy and food crises. The bottom line of the meeting was that Ukraine can continue to count on Canada for additional political, financial, humanitarian, and military support until no longer needed.
