A 43-year-old female victim did not sustain serious physical injuries after being assaulted by two other women early Tuesday morning in Saskatoon.
Shortly after 4 a.m. on May 30, Saskatoon Police Service (SPS) patrol officers responded to a report of a woman being assaulted by two other women outside of a hotel in the 800 block of Idylwyld Drive.
The officers also learned upon arrival that the two suspects had made derogatory comments about the victim’s gender. The two female suspects, aged 33 and 41, were arrested and both are facing charges of assault while the Hate Crime Unit continues to investigate.
