The Water Security Agency says there is little threat of flooding from last week’s heavy snowfall. Spokesperson Patrick Boylesays snow has been melting at a slow, steady pace due to cool, dry weather after the snowfall. Instead it will just add to the current flows, but because of the temperatures after the snow, the melt has been very gradual. Boyle says, as of Monday, the snowpack in the southeast had already fallen from 15 to 8 centimeters with little sign of high-water levels. (CKRM)
