Health Canada has issued a warning for two children’s syrups, Robikids and Solmux, sold online that are labelled to contain a prescription drug that may pose serious health risks such as nausea, diarrhea, allergic reactions (e.g., anaphylaxis) and gastrointestinal bleeding. Health Canada is urging parents and caregivers to not use the products. The products need to be taken to your local pharmacy for proper disposal and you should consult a health care professional if you or your child have used either of the products. Health Canada says the two unauthorized children’s syrups for thinning mucus, Robikids and Solmux, seized from Kamshoppe, were advertised on Facebook.
