Saskatoon Police say a 30 year old woman suffered severe burns after an assault on Tuesday night. Around 11:30 last night, officers responded to the 200 block of Avenue R South after it was reported someone had been assaulted with boiling water. She was taken to hospital by ambulance in stable condition.

A 29 year old man at the same home was arrested and charged with aggravated assault. The two are known to one another.
