One of the accused in the Megan Gallagher homicide investigation is now facing more charges. And law enforcement officials are on the hunt for a ninth suspect.
Saskatoon Police say 44-year-old Roderick William Sutherland was arrested Tuesday (Oct 4) by Prince Albert RCMP. He was previously charged with Indignity to Human Remains in connection to this case. He now faces an additional charge of First Degree Murder and will appear before a Justice of the Peace this evening (Weds).
The police are asking for the public’s help in locating 24-year-old Summer Sky Henry. A warrant has been requested for First Degree Murder in connection to the Megan Gallagher homicide.
She also has outstanding warrants which are unrelated to the Gallagher case that include Unlawful Confinement, Aggravated Assault, Robbery, Firearm Offences, Drug Charges, and Failing to Comply with a Court Order. Her photo is in our online story.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Saskatoon Police or Crime Stoppers. If you see Summer Sky Henry do not approach but call 9-1-1 immediately.
