Willow Bunch resident Cameron Marit has won more than 785-thousand-dollars after hitting the grand jackpot on the Vault Breaker VLT.

Western Canada Lottery Corporation says he hit the jackpot when he was visiting the Jolly Giant Pub in Willow Bunch on September 15. Marit says he was waiting for takeout and decided to “throw a few bucks into the machine.”

He says he’s going to retire from his job of 37 years, do some work on his backyard, maybe build a garage and he wants to travel. Marit says he hasn’t been to the east coast or to Hawaii.

Vault Breaker is a wide-area progressive that links 4,200 VLTs located in approximately 570 sites in 270 communities across the province.
