A multi-jurisdictional exercise was held over this past weekend at Good Spirit Lake with several Saskatchewan search and rescue teams coming together to respond to a realistic mock scenario involving a natural disaster.

The accompanying photo shows the multi-jurisdictional exercise at work. The groups that came together quickly, thoroughly and cohesively were Saskatchewan R-C-M-P Search and Rescue, local fire departments, the Saskatchewan Public Safety Agency (S-P-S-A), Search and Rescue Saskatchewan Association of Volunteers (S-A-R-S-A-V) and Civil Air Search and Rescue Association (C-A-S-A-R-A).
