The Saskatchewan Roughriders almost made it half-way back from its post-COVID-19 pandemic financial losses.
At the Green and White’s Annual General Meeting Tuesday evening in Regina, Chief Financial Officer Kent Paul revealed that the Riders made a profit of $3.9 million on their 2021-22 fiscal year operations, as of March 31. The 2021 season saw the return to action for Saskatchewan and the C-F-L, albeit shorter and condensed compared to normal. The 2020-21 fiscal year financial report from the Roughriders showed a loss of $8.4 million in operations as there was no season because of the pandemic.
