The Saskatoon Police Service has confirmed that dangerous driving incident we told you about from the weekend did involve a truck stolen out of Edmonton which was spotted early Saturday morning at 22nd Street West and Avenue X South.
With the extra eyes from the Air Support Unit, stop sticks were laid down at Avenue W South and 11th Street West resulting in the vehicle coming to a stop, not too far away, in a ditch off Highway 7.
Four people were arrested and charged. Police also seized a machete, a knife and a BB gun.
A 19-year-old man faces charges of Possession of Stolen Property Over $5000, Dangerous Driving, Evading Police, three counts of Possession of a Dangerous Weapon, and Breach of Conditions.
An 18-year-old man faces charges of Possession of Stolen Property Over $5000, three counts of Possession of a Dangerous Weapon, and Breach of Conditions.
A 20-year-old woman and 37-year-old woman both face three counts of Possession of a Dangerous Weapon.
