Saskatoon Police say a situation involving what was believed to be a stolen truck out of Edmonton involved a pursuit around twenty-to-three Saturday morning.
The vehicle was at Avenue W South and 11th Street West, headed for city limits and stop sticks were laid down. The Air Support Unit followed the pursuit and in their social media post indicated they guided patrol officers and the Canine Unit to a field southwest of the city where suspects were hiding.
The ASU concluded their post with “They had a truck full of weapons”.
The vehicle came to a rest near Highway 7 and Township Road 364 and four people were taken into custody: two male and two female.
