Shakespeare on the Saskatchewan is welcoming a one-women show for the last two weeks of July. Lisa Bayliss will be performing Shakespeare’s Will, a play that portrays Shakespeare’s wife Anne Hathaway as she reminisces her life now that her husband has passed away.
It is a Canadian Written play from Vern Thiessen that watches Anne talk to Shakespeare through her memory, mind and dreams as she relives their relationship together and apart.
Bayliss describes the show as, “Fun, sexy, funny, and also heartbreaking. It’s a story of a real women and I think a lot of people are really going to enjoy it.”
