Saskatoon police say a man and woman, both 35-years-old, face charges after a dangerous driving incident last Friday night.
Around 10:30 p.m. officers attempted to pull over a vehicle in the 500 block of Idylwyld Drive South but it wouldn’t stop and headed out of Saskatoon.
Air Support Unit officers tracked the vehicle to the RM of Shields where the vehicle was abandoned.
RCMP and Corman Park Police assisted in arrested a female suspect but a male suspect took off in a truck in the area and headed north back to the city. Stop sticks deflated the tires and the vehicle was driven off road before the driver again fled on foot.
A male suspect was arrested in a farmyard near Elkwood Drive and Highway 11. He is charged with Theft of a Motor Vehicle, Evading Police, Dangerous Driving, and Breach of Conditions while the woman is charged with Evading Police and Breach of Conditions.
