City of Saskatoon road crews and contractor crews are making progress on grading priority streets after Monday’s blizzard. The City says crews also addressed the major streets that were blown in with snow from high winds. All priority streets will be graded by Friday morning.
With the extreme cold weather warning from Environment Canada, city staff are monitoring high-risk locations for ice and applying sand for traction where needed.
The City is making progress on removing the snow piled along priority 1 streets, and were about 70 per cent complete when they were re-assigned to clean up from Monday’s blizzard. That work will begin again on priority 1 and 2 streets once the clean up from the blizzard is done.
