It may be the middle of January but summer enthusiasts likely have their sights on their summer plans already.
Reservations for camping at Saskatchewan’s National Parks will open on February 4th at 8 a.m. Arron Bahry the Promotions and Media Officer at Prince Albert National Park says they recommend reservations for campers during the peak summer season and on long weekends.
With that being said Bahry suggests people enter the queue prior to the reservation period going online and to do a few things prior to getting ready to book a site.
“We recommend marking your calendar, creating an account in the reservation system, signing into your account ahead of time to practice using the system and having a backup plan in case the sight you want isn’t available.
Bahry says there are so many things to do while camping at both Grasslands and Prince Albert National Park.
At PA National Park, Bahry says there are a ton of hiking trails to enjoy along with a number of designated biking trails in the park and swimming at one of the many beaches.
