A traffic stop on Highway 1 Thursday morning near Herbert resulted in two Regina residents and one Calgary man charged with a number offences. RCMP say they saw a small amount of suspected methamphetamine in plain view. As a result, the vehicle was searched with officer finding around 100 credit, debit and identity cards that didn’t belong to any of the three. Small amounts of illegal street drugs were also found. Police say the drugs will be analyzed as part of the ongoing investigation. It was also determined that the vehicle’s VIN number had been tampered with. It was reported stolen out of Regina.

38 year-old Joel Gavina of Calgary, 21 year-old Shaylynn McKay-Koochicum of Regina and 31 year-old Aldrin Pascua of Regina face a number of charges. All three will appear in Swift Current court on Monday.
