Three people died as a result of a two-vehicle collision early Sunday morning on Highway 6, just north of Watson. A Melfort R-C-M-P investigation determined that a minivan collided with a truck towing a boat on a trailer, about 10 kilometres north of Watson at approximately 12:30 a.m. on September 12. Declared deceased at the scene was a 43-year-old man from Spalding, the driver and lone occupant of the minivan, the 42-year-old male truck driver was from Melfort and the passenger was a 35-year-old male from Piprell Lake.
