While the R-C-M-P Major Crime Unit North continues its investigation, the two victims found inside an orange coloured S-U-V along Tiny grid road near the Burgis Beach turnoff have been identified.
Twenty-nine-year-old Bryton Lawrason (pictured below-top) and 20-year-old Seth Hildebrand (pictured below-bottom), both of Edmonton, were identified by the Saskatchewan Coroners Service following an autopsy. Their pictures are with this story at CJWW Radio-dot-com. Both deaths are considered homicides and cause of death will not be released, but the R-C-M-P does say their investigation is not of a homicide-suicide nature. Investigators are asking for the public’s help when it comes to the whereabouts of Lawrason and Hildebrand on July 5th, or the days prior, as well as any information as to the activity of the 2013 Dodge Journey S-U-V (similar vehicle pictured). It was known to be in the areas of Burgis Beach, Good Spirit Lake, Canora and Yorkton on Monday. Anyone with information is asked to call Canora R-C-M-P or Crime Stoppers.
