“Downtown Saskatoon: Urban with a Prairie Heart”, that’s the title of a newly launched guide that promotes Saskatoon’s downtown as a place to live, work, play and invest.
On its website, the business improvement district known as Downtown Saskatoon cites downtown as the living room for all of the city and a destination for the entire region. It’s part of the introduction to a guide that promotes the area as a place to live, work, play and invest.
The business improvement district known as Downtown Saskatoon cites on its website that the area, as of last February, was home to 165 retail stores, 100 restaurants, 6 churches and 9 hotels with over 15-hundred rooms.
Mayor Charlie Clark says in a news release about the launch that downtown is a place where business and culture come together. The guide is a partnership with Downtown Saskatoon, the City, SREDA and Tourism Saskatoon.
