Meewasin Valley Authority says it has closed all rural sites due to COVID-19 and issues with social distancing. These areas include Cranberry Flats, Beaver Creek, Fred Heal canoe launch, as well as Poplar Bluffs and Paradise Beach trail systems and parking lots. Trail systems within the City of Saskatoon remain open. The Meewasin Valley is 67 square kilometers within Saskatoon and Corman Park. One-third of our province’s entire population lives within a 15km radius of Meewasin. The 2019 statistics show 1.65 million visits to Meewasin’s trail system yearly.
