The St. Brieux Fire Department responded to a structure fire at Willow Point Resort Friday afternoon around 12:30.

Once crews arrived, they discovered a home fully engulfed in flames. Crews were able to contain the fire to just the home, although in a Facebook post, the fire department says the home is a total loss except for an attached storage room.

Crews had the blaze under control by around 1:20 p.m.

The fire department says it appears the fire originated in the electricity/utility room.

Melfort RCMP, Melfort Ambulance, SaskPower and SaskEnergy all responded to the call.
