Members of CUPE Local 47 are, for the second time, rejecting a tentative agreement with the City of Saskatoon. The 130 members work in the meter shop, water and wastewater treatment plants, as well as environmental protection. The local has been without a contract since January first, 2017 and is the only bargaining unit still negotiating with the city for that time period. The union says the city needs to come back to the table with a better offer.
