The 42,000 metric tonnes facilities will be located in Stettler County in central Alberta and at Irricana, about 60 kilometres northeast of Calgary.
The elevators will be similar to other G3 terminals recently built on the Prairies. Each will have a railway loop track with a 150 car capacity, as well as the ability to unload a Super B truck in less than five minutes.
Construction will begin this summer, pending final regulatory approvals.
G3 has three other elevators under construction in Alberta (Morinville, Wetaskiwin and Carmangay) and a fourth at Maidstone, Saskatchewan.
