As of late Wednesday afternoon, the detour remains in place for traffic heading northbound on Highway 11 at the site of the CN train derailment near Wanuskewin Road.
The detour takes you to Highway 12, then Highway 305 and east back to Highway 11.
If you are heading south into Saskatoon, there is one lane of traffic open with speed and traffic restrictions in place.
Work crews cleared all the damaged cars away from the road and this morning (Wed), CN crews were working on track repairs.
Assistant Fire Chief Wayne Rodger said early this morning that when those were complete, the highway would need to inspect the road before it could completely open to traffic.
The 30 cars that derailed were carrying grain. No one was hurt in the accident which happened just before 9:30 Tuesday morning.
