Renovations are complete at Dene High School in La Loche.
The renovations follow the tragic shooting that took place nearly three years ago in which four people died and left 7 injured.
The renovations include a brand new front entrance, staff and administration rooms, a junior science room, a student lounge and washrooms.
The total cost of the project is $4.45 million dollars, which was provided by the provincial government.
Northern Lights School Division Board Chairperson Joey McCallum says the new space will forever be treasured for years to come and that the lives of those who were lost and those who were injured in January 2016 will never be forgotten.
