Seems a lot of people in Saskatchewan chose to speed, drive distracted or impaired or not using seatbelts last month.
SGI’s Tyler McMurchy says police caught 288 impaired drivers, almost 730 distracted drivers and issued more than 5 thousand speeding tickets.
McMurchy says these are the major contributing factors when it comes to fatalities on Saskatchewan roads.
November’s traffic safety focus of the month was on was on suspended or unregistered drivers, with more than 14 hundred tickets issued.
