Still no plea and the Calgary truck driver charged in the Humboldt Broncos bus crash has now had his legal case adjourned until the New Year. Jaskirat Sidhu faces 29 criminal charges, including 16 counts of dangerous driving causing death and 13 counts of dangerous driving causing bodily harm, in connection to the tragic bus crash on April 6th. Sidhu’s lawyer spoke to the court over the phone and requested more time for the defense to review disclosure recently received from the Crown. Sidhu also did not appear in person in Melfort Court Tuesday. The next court date in Melfort for Jaskirat Sidhu is January 8th.
