RCMP across Saskatchewan have handed out almost one-thousand speeding tickets on the province’s highways during the first week of December.
Drivers in Waskesiu, near Craik and near Peterson were among those clocked at over 150 km an hour. That truck driver was given a fine of over 14-hundred dollars as the vehicle wasn’t registered and had tinting on the front and side windows.
Meanwhile the person pulled over near Craig was also charged with impaired driving.
That was one of 44 impaired driving charges laid across the province between December 1st and 7th.
Police say 37 drivers using their cell phones were charged with distracted driving
