It’s that time of year again….for mailbox thefts. The holiday season is a magnet for thieves and Saskatoon City Police are warning everyone to make sure you check your mailbox frequently if you order online. Otherwise, you should have someone check it for you, if you plan to be away for an extended period. You can also specify to request a signature for drop-off, or have it sent to a local post office for pick-up. As for apartments, mailboxes break-ins, is a trend that started late last year. Detective Sergeant Mike Horvath says, “It hasn’t slowed down.”
