The Saskatchewan Health Authority is talking about how to combat fake news. The topic was the focus of a panel discussion at a conference held in Regina this past week. The S-H-A’s Research Director Elan Paluck says it’s important for health care providers to open the doors of communication and build trust with patients. She says those relationships take a while to build. She says it’s not something you will be able to get at a walk-in clinic. Paluck says continuing this discussion is very important, but that cannot happen unless these kinds of relationships are formed.
