Prince Albert Police responded to a series of robberies on Wednesday. The first was just before 7:30 Wednesday evening when a group of suspects approached the victim at his vehicle in a parking lot in the 1200 block of 28th Street East. The suspects attempted to steal the vehicle and assaulted the victim. One of the suspects had an edged weapon. One person ended up helping the victim and was also assaulted. Two cell phones were stolen by the suspects who then made their way to Victoria Hospital where they caused a disturbance. Before officers arrived, a male suspect assaulted a female patient and robbed her of her cell phone. He fled the scene and was not found. Two other suspects, a man and a woman approached another victim who was returning to his vehicle. With the intention of stealing the vehicle, the male suspect assaulted the victim and the female suspect entered the vehicle. After a brief foot chase, police were able to apprehend the two suspects along with another man who was found in possession of one of the cell phones. Three people in their late teens and early 20’s face charges including robbery with violence. The investigation is continuing and below is a photo of the missing suspect.
