The Saskatchewan Chamber of Commerce is pleased with announcements that were made in Finance Minister Bill Morneau’s fall fiscal update.
The Chamber says a renewed effort to eliminate interprovincial trade barriers, various actions to reduce regulatory burdens and businesses being able to quickly write off investments into new equipment are all very positive.
CEO of the Saskatchewan Chamber of Commerce, Steve McLellan says they congratulate the federal government for taking concrete steps to improving Canada’s competitiveness although the Chamber says it will continue to focus on issues including the federal deficit, issues around market access and pipelines.
