A 38 year old Saskatoon man had to be treated for dog bites after a police Canine Unit responded to a break-in. Around 11:30 last night (mon), a man thought he saw an intruder in his garage on the 200 block of Avenue X South. Police say their officers arrived with a man still in the garage. The suspect, weighed down with stolen property, tried to run but was quickly apprehended with help from the police dog. He is facing a Break, Enter, and Theft charge.
