The province and community partners have launched the Cold Weather Strategy again this year to make sure people have a way of getting out of the cold and into a safe environment.
In Saskatoon, the Salvation Army is the point of contact or the Ministry of Social Services’ Saskatoon Service Centre during weekday business hours.
In Regina, Mobile Crisis Services provides services and referrals and in Prince Albert, the YWCA’s emergency services is available after hours, otherwise the contact is Prince Albert Mobile Crisis.
People in other communities should contact their nearest Ministry of Social Services Centre.
