Saskatchewan Crime Stoppers says a woman wanted in connection to stealing a Royal Canadian Legion Poppy donation box has been identified. Crime Stoppers released a photo of the woman on the weekend which it obtained from surveillance footage at a liquor store in Tisdale.
According to Crime Stoppers, November 9th around a quarter to 5 in the afternoon, two women entered the business and as the first woman was paying for her items, the second woman grabbed the donation box. Officials allege she shoved it under her sweater and quickly left the store. It is believed there was about a $100 inside the poppy donation box.
