The proposed 2019 City of Prince Albert budget calls for a property tax increase of 3.9 percent.
City officials say they need that extra 1.17 million dollars to balance the books.
Public consultation surrounding the budget which calls for 67.5-million dollars in operating revenue is 6 p.m. Monday at City Hall.
The budget committee will then review the entire document and make its recommendations to City Council who will decide on the final budget.
