An RCMP review of a Regina Police death investigation in 2015 has concluded, but it will not be made public until after a meeting with the family. In January of 2015, Nadine Machiskinic was found severely injured in a laundry chute at the Delta Hotel, and later died of her injuries. Regina Police ruled her death as accidental. A jury at a coroner’s inquest found it to be undetermined. Chief Evan Bray says delays in the investigation were noted in the review, but they did not alter the final result of the case. Bray says he and the family will be meeting sometime next week where he will go through the review and the recommendations that came out, and the Police Department’s plan going forward .
