Three people have been arrested in Saskatoon following an incident on Saturday night in which a a stolen truck evaded police.
A 35 year old man, a 24 year old woman and a 16 year old girl face charges after the truck first evaded police around 8:30 before ending up in a ditch north of the city.
Police were first called to a parking lot on Marquis Drive regarding a possible stolen truck.
Once officers arrived they located the Ford F-350 and confirmed it had been reported stolen from Lloydminster.
Officers were able to deploy a tire deflation device as the truck began to leave the the parking lot. The truck then continued to travel with two flat tires and left the city.
Once the truck left the highway, the three fled on foot and were located a short distance nearby.
The three are all facing charges of possession of stolen property while the driver, the 35 year old man faces another charge of evading police and dangerous operation of a motor vehicle.
