Saskatoon Police are continuing to investigate a collision that took place just before 2:30 Friday morning involving an ambulance from Medavie Health Services and a GMC Sierra truck.
The two vehicle collision happened at the intersection of Idylwyld Drive and Marquis Drive. Fire crews responded with two fire pumpers and one rescue truck.
Three crews members inside the ambulance at the time of the collision said that they were rear-ended while waiting at a red light.
The three crews members were then taken to hospital with minor injuries.
The driver of the truck, a 23 year old man was also taken to hospital with minor injuries although the fire department says the extent of injuries are unknown at this time.
There was no patient inside the ambulance at the time of the collision.
Saskatoon Police say charges are pending. The Fire Department says both vehicles received major damage.
