The Prince Albert Combined Forces Special Enforcement Unit has charged two men in connection to an investigation on Friday night.
Police say a vehicle with 2 men inside was stopped and officers allege a sawed off gun and ammunition were found and seized.
A search warrant was then executed at the suspects’ home where police say evidence to support the offence of possession of firearms was located.
A 29 year old man from Montreal Lake is facing 7 firearms charges and obstruction of a peace officer.
A 23 year old Prince Albert man has 9 firearm related charges and a breach of his recognizance to not possess weapons.
