The Saskatoon Fashion and Design Festival combines a conference with shopping and showcasing local fashion. It is being held this weekend in Saskatoon at the Delta Bessborough Hotel and while there will be runway events at night and a marketplace, there is a conference for the designers themselves with guest speakers providing insight on Marketing and Business Development as well as Fashion Industry Development. Spokesperson Mandy Pravda says Saturday and Sunday evening you can actually shop the runway pre-and-post shows.
