A total of 14 players were shuffled on and off the Saskatchewan Roughriders’ 46-man roster in advance of Saturday’s visit to Calgary.
The seven players coming off the roster, including veteran import rush end Charleston Hughes, were all placed on the one-game injured list by the Green and White. Besides Hughes, linebackers Matt Elam and Brandyn Bartlett, guard Dariusz Bladek, receivers Devon Bailey and Kenny Shaw plus defensive lineman Mi’chael Brooks were taken off the 46-man roster. Of the seven players added to the 46, only import receiver Jordan Williams-Lambert is listed on the Riders’ depth chart (pictured) as being a starter. He will replace Shaw at one of the slotback positions. Game time Saturday is 5 p.m. on T-S-N.
