Waste Reduction Week is drawing to a close this weekend, but not before Saskatoon has its first Repair Café. It’s happening Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Saskatoon Makerspace. If you have household items in need of repair, you are welcome to bring them down for repair. Makerspace has tools and experts for repair in everything from woodworking, 3D printing, sewing, and small electronics. It’s all in an effort to reuse rather than throw out. Any electrical items beyond repair will be taken in for recycling. Makerspace is at 140 Avenue C South.
