Saskatoon Police made an arrest Tuesday after getting a call from a city resident who reported that they’d seen their stolen vehicle being driven around.
Police arrived in the 400 block of Fairmont Drive and say the Canine Unit watched someone get out the driver’s side of the stolen vehicle and the suspect was quickly detained by a police dog after taking off on foot.
A 25 year old Quebec man suffered minor injuries from a dog bite and after being released back into police custody, was charged.
Police say the also seized numerous vehicle keys, break and enter tools and homemade keys.
