Queen Street between 2nd and 3rd Avenues is closed for water and sewer connection repairs. It’s expected to take three days to complete. Road users can use 26th Street or King Street to get around the construction area. If everything works out, the roadway should reopen Friday evening.
The McOrmond Drive and College Drive interchange opens to traffic today. Bryan Zerebeski, the City’s manager for the interchange project says all interchange ramps will be operational. But there is still some work to do. Zerebeski says, because of the wet September, that work will resume in the spring. Southbound traffic on McOrmond exiting onto College will continue to use the existing ramp. All traffic exiting from College onto McOrmond northbound and southbound must use the right lane. The interchange is expected to be complete by the end of next July.
