The body of a 42 year old woman was discovered, as Saskatoon fire fighters battled a blaze at a residence of the 14 hundred block of 21st Street West. Crews were called out around 4:30 Monday afternoon. They found smoke and flames showing as they arrived. The fire was quickly put out and the body was discovered. Saskatoon Police say an autopsy has been ordered to determine the cause of death. At this point, it is not being treated as suspicious. Police and the Fire Department are investigating the cause of the fire. Damage is pegged at $100,000.
