A 33 year old man was taken to Royal University Hospital in serious but stable condition after being stabbed last night (wed). Around 7:20, Saskatoon Police were called to an address on the 100 block of Avenue N South. They found the man suffering from multiple stab wounds. The matter is being investigated by the Targeted Enforcement Unit.
Police were told of gunshots in the Pleasant Hill and Westmount areas around 9:30 last night. They say they found four people with a sawed off shotgun which police allege had randomly been fired while the group was walking in the area. There have been no reports of injury or damage. Three women, aged 21, 22, and 24, and a 23 year old man are facing firearm-related charges and are in court today.
