RCMP have arrested and charged 43 year old Lewis Roberts of Grandmother’s Bay with Impaired Operation of a Motor Vehicle Causing Death, Failure to Stop at the Scene of an Accident, and Operation of a Motor Vehicle in a Manner that is Dangerous to the Public Thereby Causing Death. Around four o’clock last Sunday morning, there was a fatal pedestrian accident in the community of Grandmother’s Bay. Stanley Mission RCMP investigated with help from the Saskatoon Collision Reconstructionist, and the Saskatchewan Coroner’s Service. Roberts is to be in Provincial Court in La Ronge today (thurs).
