Police in Prince Albert were kept busy over the weekend responding to a total of 329 calls between Friday night and Monday morning.
In one incident on Sunday just before 9 a.m., police responded to the 1800 block of 17th Street West due to a complaint of a vehicle hit and run.
It was reported that a blue truck hit two vehicles and then left the scene.
Officers located the truck parked on the 500 block of MacArthur Drive with significant damage to the front end.
One of the two men walking from the truck admitted to being the driver and he appeared to be intoxicated.
The 18 year old failed a breathalyzer test and was charged with impaired driving and exceeding .08 and control of a vehicle involved in an accident with intent to escape.
The suspect will appear in Provincial Court on November 26th.
In another incident over the weekend, Police responded to a report of an impaired driver cutting off other vehicles on 2nd Avenue West and 15th Street to Marquis Road.
Officers located the vehicle and a traffic stop was conducted.
The driver appeared to be impaired and there was evidence in the vehicle of alcohol consumption.
The man failed a breathalyzer test and was arrested by police.
The 34 year old man from Regina is facing charges of impaired driving and exceeding .08.
The man will appear in Prince Albert court November 19th.
Throughout the weekend, 69 arrests were made and the top 2 calls for service were 60 for disturbances and 58 for intoxicated persons.
