Autopsy and Court Appearance in Connection to Long Weekend Homicide

An autopsy will take place today in Saskatoon in the death of Dustin Craig Chamakese.

Spiritwood RCMP say they were called to a home on Pelican Lake First Nation Saturday because of a report of a fight. Dustin Chamakese died of his injuries and a suspect, who police say is related to the victim, has been charged in the case.

Lorin Davin Chamakese, also of the Pelican Lake First Nation, is in Spiritwood Court today to face a charge of second degree murder.
